Friends of Keller is a non-profit 501(c)3, all-volunteer, parent-run organization, committed to raising funds and building community while supporting the mission and day-to-day operations of Annie Keller Regional Gifted Center in the historic Mt. Greenwood neighborhood in Chicago.

KELLER SCHOOL-WIDE WALKATHON

Get ready to lace up and join us for a great cause because the Friends of Keller and Keller PTA Walkathon is coming on Friday, May 8, 2026. The Walkathon is our school's end of year fundraiser. This fun event is a chance for students to walk with their classmates while helping raise money to support programs, classroom resources, and technology for our school.

Over the next few weeks, students will have the opportunity to ask family and friends to sponsor their walk. Every donation, big or small, helps to support Keller students and strengthen our school community. This event is a great way for students to stay active, build school spirit, and contribute to the continued success of our school community.

One hundred percent of funds raised go directly back to the school and the students. Here are just some of the items we aim to fund for the school year:

How to Get Started

To get started, first set-up your individual pledge page. To create an individual page, click the Participation Center Link and select "Sign Up Now". If you have more than one student, be sure to enter the number of participants in the amount box before clicking "Add to Cart". Complete the information for each student and your page will be ready to share with family and friends. Next, share the fundraiser with family and friends.

We are also looking for volunteers to help make this event a success. If you would like to support and cheer on our students sign-up to volunteer!

If you can't create a pledge page and still want to support the Walkathon, please consider donating directly via the Friends of Keller Paypal site. You can select the amount you wish to donate. Please add the student's name and grade level and you will be all set. Together, we can make this Walkathon a fun and meaningful event for our entire Keller community. So start spreading the word and get ready to walk!
